The basics

What is it and why does it matter?

Wavedd Score is a points system built to reward artists who actively contribute to the platform and their local scene. It affects where you appear in city charts, how you rank on the artist browse page, and shows other artists, labels, and promoters how active you are.

Your rolling 90-day score determines where you sit in your city's chart. The more active you are recently, the higher you rank. It resets naturally so fresh activity always counts.

Your score sits on your profile next to your name. It shows anyone visiting that you are an active, contributing member of the platform.

How the score works

Two scores, two purposes

Your Wavedd Score is made up of two separate numbers that work together. Here is what each one does.

Lifetime score

Your total contribution

Every point you have ever earned, added up. This number never goes down. It determines your tier badge and shows on your profile as a permanent record of how much you have put into the platform.

Rolling 90-day score

Your recent activity

Only points earned in the last 90 days count here. This is what drives your position in city charts and the artist browse page. It resets naturally over time so recent activity always matters more than what you did a year ago.

Tiers

Where do you sit?

As your lifetime score grows, you move through five tiers. Your tier badge shows permanently on your profile. Once you earn it, you keep it.

Good to know

No. Points are awarded automatically as soon as you take an action on the platform. Upload a product, make a sale, get a follower. It all happens in the background without you having to do a thing.

Your lifetime score never goes down. Your rolling 90-day score will naturally decrease as older activity falls outside the 90-day window, but that just means recent activity has more impact. Stay active and your chart position stays strong.

Log into your Wavedd dashboard. At the top you will see your Wavedd Score widget showing your lifetime points, rolling score, current tier, city rank, and a feed of your recent point activity.

Every artist is ranked within their city using their rolling 90-day score. The artist with the highest 90-day score in that city sits at number one. Charts update daily so position can change as people upload and sell.

Anyone who signed up and uploaded at least one product within the first six months of Wavedd launching gets a permanent 50 point head start. It is our way of recognising the artists who backed the platform early and helped build what it is becoming.

Not directly. The City Fund is funded by a percentage of sales and runs separately. However, if you finish in the top 3 contributors to your city pot in a quarter, you earn a 25 point bonus. So the more you sell, the more you give back to your scene, and the more points you earn.
