Wavedd Creator Policy

Welcome to Wavedd.com — a multi-creator marketplace where independent artists, producers and designers can sell digital products and physical merchandise. This Creator Policy outlines the responsibilities and rules that apply to all creators using our platform. By creating an account and listing products on Wavedd, you agree to comply with this policy, our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines provided by Wavedd.


1. Creator Responsibilities

1.1 Product Listings

  • Create accurate, clear and complete product listings.
  • Ensure all titles, descriptions and metadata truthfully represent your product.
  • Use images and mockups that do not infringe any third-party rights.

1.2 Product Quality

  • Ensure all digital files are high quality and fully functional.
  • Verify all files are correctly downloadable and tested before publishing.
  • Ensure merchandise designs meet Printful’s content and print requirements.
  • Ensure no products contain malware, harmful code or unauthorised samples.

1.3 Customer Communication

  • Respond to customer messages within a reasonable timeframe (typically 1–3 working days).
  • Assist customers with any issues related to your digital products.
  • Manage your own return/refund process for Printful merchandise.

1.4 Compliance

  • Comply with all applicable laws, including copyright, data protection (UK GDPR) and consumer regulations.
  • Follow Printful’s Acceptable Content Guidelines for merchandise.
  • Ensure all product content is legally owned or licensed by you.

2. Digital Product Guidelines

Creators may sell digital audio and creative files including tracks, stems, loops, vocals, sample packs, project files and artwork.

Prohibited content:

  • Copyright-infringing content (including unauthorised samples or vocals).
  • AI-generated content without rights to data, models or outputs.
  • Illegal content or content encouraging illegal activity.
  • Content promoting hate, discrimination, harassment or violence.
  • Low-quality, misleading or non-functional products.
  • Files containing malware or harmful code.

3. Physical Products (Printful Integration)

Creators may sell merchandise using their own Printful account. Creators are responsible for managing their Printful integration and all related fulfilment.

Creators are responsible for:

  • Connecting and maintaining their Printful account.
  • Submitting and managing Printful claims (misprints, defects, lost parcels, etc.).
  • Ensuring designs meet Printful’s technical and content requirements.
  • Providing accurate mockups, descriptions and sizing information.
  • Setting pricing and shipping rates for their merchandise.

Wavedd is not responsible for:

  • Printing, packing or shipping merchandise.
  • Handling refunds or replacements for Printful orders.
  • Managing creator Printful accounts or errors.
  • Any delays, defects or shipping issues caused by Printful or couriers.

4. Returns, Refunds & Customer Issues

4.1 Digital Products

  • Digital downloads are generally non-refundable once downloaded.
  • Creators must support customers in cases of corrupted files, incorrect files or technical issues.
  • Creators may be required to work with Wavedd support when needed.

4.2 Printful Merchandise

Creators must handle all Printful-related customer issues, including:

  • Refund and replacement decisions.
  • Defect, misprint and shipping claims.
  • Lost or delayed packages.
  • Cancellations (where possible before production begins).

Creators must respond to customers promptly and submit claims to Printful within their required timeframe (typically 30 days).

If a creator is unresponsive for more than 3–5 working days, Wavedd may step in.


5. Payments, Fees & Revenue

  • Payments are processed by our third-party provider (e.g., Stripe).
  • Creators are responsible for any processing fees.
  • Wavedd may charge platform fees or commission based on the creator’s plan.
  • Wavedd may withhold payouts in cases of fraud, disputes or investigations.
  • Creators must keep their payment details accurate and up to date.

6. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Creators must own the rights to all content uploaded to Wavedd. By publishing content, creators confirm that:

  • They own the rights to all audio and artwork they sell.
  • They have appropriate permission for any third-party elements.
  • They grant Wavedd a licence to store, display and distribute their content solely for operating the platform.

Creators are legally responsible for any copyright infringement caused by their content.


7. Data Protection & Confidentiality

  • Creators must protect customer information and use it only for order fulfilment.
  • Creators must not share, sell or misuse customer data.
  • Creators must comply with the UK GDPR.

8. Prohibited Behaviour

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Attempting to take customers off-platform to avoid fees.
  • Uploading misleading, harmful or infringing content.
  • Abusive behaviour towards customers or Wavedd staff.
  • Manipulating reviews or creating fake orders.
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.
  • Misusing messaging for spam or off-platform promotion.

9. Disputes & Platform Intervention

Wavedd may intervene in disputes when:

  • A creator becomes unresponsive.
  • Repeated customer complaints occur.
  • A creator violates policy or legal requirements.
  • A dispute affects platform safety or integrity.

Wavedd may remove content, issue warnings or suspend creator accounts if needed.


10. Account Suspension & Termination

Wavedd may suspend or terminate a creator account if:

  • This policy is violated.
  • Illegal or infringing content is uploaded.
  • Creators fail to respond to customers.
  • Fraud or abusive behaviour is detected.
  • A Printful account is misused or repeatedly causes issues.

Termination does not entitle the creator to a refund of any fees paid.


11. Policy Changes

Wavedd may update this policy from time to time. Changes may occur due to:

  • Platform updates
  • Legal or regulatory changes
  • Printful policy changes
  • Improvements to safety and quality

Creators will be notified via email or platform announcement. Continued use of Wavedd constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
